Diagram Hot-link to Multimedia

Add an icon to diagram boxes to represent linked documents. Make it 'hot', so clicking will open the tsarget.
Preferably allow the target to be a selected position (field) within e.g. an MS Word document.
Even better, for images show a captioned gallery of thumbnails.
