With the property box fully extended, in the 'family view' there is room to additionally show [for the children] the birth PLACE as well as death date and place. This would make viewing the family details much easier and allow those details be be entered without moving up to the individual - such as:
John Smith 6 June 1900 New Jersey 20 Oct 1966 Oklahoma
Would save a lot of time from back and forth between the individual and his/her parents.

I would add that having the death date/place shown in the focus window would also be a nice thing.

One thought for a work around is to use the Focus window for the family you can simply over around with the cursor keys and the property box will follow it.
Alt-Enter will then jump you the property box to enter data if you need to.
