Where space is restricted it would be more acceptable to reduce the size of the image rather than distorting the aspect...

I just switch them off as they take up too much room and I don't need any pictures at this level of detail.

Not worth a wish list request in its own right, but while looking at what happens when space is restricted, and given that it abreviates names to initials, it would be helpful to also abbreviate the dates to years.
