Does anyone else have to use the menu selection Window Refresh to update the Diagram Window?

A long-time irritation is the need for a mouse action (or fiddly Alt/W, F) when the function key F5 is a Windows standard.

This would not conflict with FH's use as a Propertty Box 'validate' function.

The way I sometimes force a refresh is to do an app switch with Alt-TAB. Press once to switch away, and then again to switch back. I tend to use all my Windows programs full screen so this tends to work in forcing the diagram to refresh.

Thanks, that's an idea.

I was a bit appalled to discover from this thread that FH sometimes (yes really, sometimes, not always) refreshes the diagram when I switch applications. We've talked before about the same sort of problem with focus in the property box. IMHO this sort of behaviour should be illegal.

That of course is quite apart from the fact that the Refresh command should be totally unnecessary.

And that Alt+W,F doesn't work when you're editing in the property box (which is after all why the diagram needs refreshing in the first place), and nor would F5 for the same reason, so you have to use the mouse anyway.

... and while we're on the subject, Ctrl+Tab which is supposed to switch windows within an application gets stuck on the tab strip in the Focus window (but curiously not in the Records window).

As Jon pointed out in another thread, it depends whether it's docked or not. I always use it floating.
