Could we have the option to display thumbnails of multimedia which are link to a fact *alongside* the fact rather than having to click on the multimedia tab. This makes it much nicer to look at and also enables much easier visual checking to ensure the right image has been linked. This would be especially useful if, for example, you linked a picture of the church where the person was baptised and then later either got a better picture or found out that it was the wrong church or that the same picture was already used for their burial and didn't want it repeated etc etc. It would be much much easier to check this sort of thing if you could see the images up front at the same time as you were editing/reviewing the data.

Multimedia to display alongside fact
I'm not sure I fully understand this request. The Multimedia tab of the Property Box for an Individual or Family shows only the multimedia linked directly to the Individual or Family record, not the multimedia linked to any Facts. The Facts tab shows a count of multimedia linked to each Fact and those images can be viewed by clicking on the Show Media button on the Facts tab. However, while the View/Edit Media window is displayed, the Facts data cannot be edited, but only reviewed. I think the Facts tab would probably be too crowded if it tried to show all the images linked to the Event, as well as the data about the Event.

Multimedia to display alongside fact
... Sort of my point ... I would like to be able to see the images alongside each fact rather than having to pull up another window to see themHowever, while the View/Edit Media window is displayed, the Facts data cannot be edited, but only reviewed.
... 90% of my facts have zero images - the ones that do have images have usually only 1 or 2 ... I'd be happy to compromise and only have the first image showing ... or alternatively have a pop-up modal window used to preview all facts and images for the current person/family.I think the Facts tab would probably be too crowded if it tried to show all the images linked to the Event, as well as the data about the Event.
The reason I need it is to ensure that the images are correct and have not been repeated in the same person (e.g. I may use an image of the church for the baptism but don't want the same image for the marriage; or I may have changed the place of marriage or need to check that the right document is linked etc etc) ... At the moment the only way to do this is to hop in and out of each fact popping up each individual media for it or try to use 'All' which of course doesn't show thumbnails at all.
I can't think of another way to solve the problem ... any ideas?

Sarah,
I think that if you use the method I suggested elsewhere, and set the Property Box Preferences to 'open docked for other windows' (which includes the Multimedia window), you can get what you want by selecting the required Individual or Family and then using the Media - View Media for Selected Records... option. The Multimedia Window then shows thumbnails for all images linked directly to the Individual or Family and those linked to their Facts! You can then directly use the All tab of the docked Multimedia property box to edit image data as required.

Multimedia to display alongside fact
I guess I will have to do as you suggest but although this displays all the multimedia it doesn't give any indication which facts are linked to which images (unless of course you only have one of each type of fact when you can tell from the linked 'Loc' column. ...
Could I amend the request to ask that the relevant/linked fact is moved to in the Facts list, so that at least they are synchronised?
