Bug: Cannot create new multimedia in custom field

If you create a customised field (say in the Source Main tab) to show a multimedia file (i.e. specifying SOUR.OBJE[1] as the Data Reference in the customisation) then the field appears correctly and if you click on the icon on the select icon at the end of the field you can correctly get the 'Select Multimedia' dialog box. BUT if you try to click 'New' from that same dialog box nothing happens.

I suspect the New button should be hidden really as I suspect there is a context issue.

I don't see why ... it's the same thing as doing Add Media from the Media tab.

We didn't intend the New button to be available in this context, so Jane is right - it should have been hidden. But Anonymous is also right - there's no particular reason why it couldn't be available here; so we will think about that. Thank you for pointing this out.
