Add Fact - typing ahead

I often want to add Residence as a fact and expecting a type ahead function (as occurs with Flag selection) I keep on typing RES to get to it. This invariably gives me the Fact Tab 'Education' (I have no 'S' facts).
To get Residence my route has to be Properties window, facts tab, add fact, R (shows me Religion) and then arrow down one to get Residence.
Nothing monumental but inconsistent

Typing RR will highlight the 2nd Fact beginning with the letter 'R'.

Thanks - neat work around.

However I feel my point still stands that getting to the data I want needs a different method for facts and flags.

I don't think it is a 'work around' but how the list actually works.

There seem to be two ways that lists work - repeatedly typing the initial letter of the word you are looking for is one way - or typing the word until it appears on the list is the other way - which you want to see implemented. It probably isn't possible to implement both on the same list so the program author has to make a choice. Either are equally valid but the method chosen should be used consistently throughout the program so as not to confuse the user.

Have you considered hiding all the events and attributes you rarely use? That way, the ones you use a lot should be much more easily accessible.

Click the 'More' to show the Hide button. Press the Ctrl key while clicking on list items to select multiple discontiguous items, and then click 'Hide' to hide them all. They aren't gone forever, you use the 'Show Hidden' button at any time to view them again, or the 'Show' button to unhide them.
