Save print setup settings

Post by michele » 07 Sep 2011 00:22

Diagram window > Print setup > I choose the best paper size to fit my diagram...  everything ok.
I save Diagram, I close window.

When I reopen the saved chart the paper size is back to the default 4A paper size... [confused]

Is there a way to save paper size settings with the chart?

Thanks

I don't think it's possible currently, I will move this over to the wish list.

Save print setup settings

For some printers you can define saved settings/shortcuts for different configurations.
So for example you could have one setting for standard A4 document printing, and another setting for printing FH diagrams.
Usually these settings are accessed via Start > Printers and Faxes or Devices and Printers.
The same options can be reached via the Control Panel.
Select your printer and right-click or use the File menu, and choose Printing preferences.
There you may find an Adjust print options or Shortcuts tab or Profiles tab where you can Save settings under a name you choose.
Then when you come to use FH to Print a Diagram you should be able to select the Option/Properties/Profile you want in the Print dialogue for the printer.
