I would like to see an option (Or perhaps default) for the Work with external file links window to open with a collapsed tree except where a branch has broken links.
This, I feel, would make it easier to see if any links are broken, whereas at the moment you have to scroll through the entire tree.
Also, could the window please remember that it has been maximised.

I think this is almost identical to Wishlist 476: Work With External File Links: Hide Valid Links.

Soryy, yes it is the same.
Hadn't noticed it before, but I have now voted for it.

There is the related Check and Repair Media Links Plugin that largely circumvents the Work with External File Links option.
