How do we vote?  Don't see any info on that.  Also, does voting now mean that some of the wish list requests MAY soon be incorporated in a new 4.++?

That would be GREAT!!!

Click on the item you want to vote for and use the drop down to vote with a rating.

There are no promises on the items being picked up for development, how ever many of the more popular items have been picked off over the years the list has been running.

I'm obviously missing something here - clicked on one that I want to vote for - but found no drop down to use.  ????

What operating system are you using, goodwin2?

I'm still on Win98, with Firefox 2 browser and I can't see a dropdown either. My page does look like Chris' screenshot but below 'Last Vote' all I've got is a black stripe with a 'Return to List' link underneath it. No part of the black stripe is clickable.

Did you log in first?

I spent ages trying to find some way of voting and then realised I hadn't logged in.

Don't worry, David.

I'm not clever - I think I asked about this same problem before and being put right by other forum members.

The amazing thing is that I eventually remembered the answer (after a good deal of time wasting and cursing, it must be said!).

maggie

It did say on the screen that you need to sign in.

I have now changed it to say it larger and in red.

Jane,

That's when you've clicked on an item to vote for.

Some of us (or maybe only me) got stuck on the list page.

maggie

When you are not signed in your should be able to search and view items. What did you have a problem with?

Jane,

It was me being stupid.

When I looked at the list page I could see no way of voting.

It wasn't until I ran my cursor over the titles that I realised that you could click on those and go to a voting page.  I think I was looking for somewhere on the list page that said 'Vote Here'.

maggie

Um ... sorry to be a pain but one of my requests seemed to get a bit transmogrified in the transfer process ... The request to suppress multimedia keywords or use the properties from the physical file seems to have evolved into a request to use the path name to auto-generate keywords. Whilst this would be a nice-to-have it's not really what I was getting at. By 'properties of the physical file' I meant the stuff (Title, Keywords etc) you get if you go into Windows file manager and do right click on the file, then Properties then select the Summary tab. Sorry if I wasn't clear.

I've added a note but is there any chance of having the entry corrected (or maybe creating a separate one).

I did say to pick up titles and keywords from the IPTC data on the images which is where the title and keywords are stored.
