Provide a new Diagram Control Box option which allows the user to inhibit the underlying diagram Smart layout capability so that at least the top level parent boxes in the diagram remain locked in position whilst the user employs Box & Bar or Fixed Point operations elsewhere in the diagram.

Or perhaps extend the Fixed Point option to allow multiple boxes to be selected and fixed.
