Select same citation in All tab and Source Pane

This is a little thing but make me waste a lot of time.
Usually I work in "All Tab" of Property box.
Often I want to add citation details in Source Pane, so in All Tab I click the source citation I'm interested in, expecting to see in Source Pane details for this citation... but in Source Pane always the first citation keeps selected!
So I have to scroll another time in Source Pane looking for the source I'm interested in.
My wish is that in Source Pane the same citation is selected automatically. :D

I agree that this would be a worthwhile improvement.

Meanwhile, it is possible to see the relevant details, albeit in the All tab, by double-clicking the required Source.

There is a similar problem with Citation references in a Query/Plugin Result Set Column.
I reported this problem to Calico Pie support in Feb 2013 with reference Query Result Set Citation Links [#386152]
A Result Set Column may hold a reference such as %INDI.OCCU[1].SOUR[2]%.
This correctly displays the 2nd Citation Source Record Title.
But a double-click on the cell does NOT select the Property Box Sources pane Citation entry.
The data reference may be %INDI.OCCU[1].SOUR[2].DATA.DATE%.
This correctly displays the 2nd Citation Entry Date.
But a double-click on the cell does NOT select the Entry Date field.

I have now logged this and will investigate it in due course.
I will add the above problem to my report.

See Wish List Ref 526 Select the Sources For Citation fields correctly.

Thank you. Good to learn a simpler way of doing this, but it is quite a complicated process and difficult to remember. A simple option would be great.
