Since upgrading to Ver 3.1 I have been unable to display any diagrams. If I attempt even a single person diagram, I get a box saying -
'An error has occurred. Unable to display diagram. Insufficient memory or low resources? Save your work, then restart your computer and retry'
I have tried restarting my computer, and stopped any other application from running, including my Virus Checker, but it makes no difference. I have also tried reloading the 3.1 upgrade.
Any ideas, please?

Do you have a default printer installed on your computer?
You may be able to 'get around' the problem by selecting
Tools/Preferences/General Tab/Advanced then deselect 'Cache Printer Settings'

Thanks for you prompt reply, Jane. I have done what you said and it worked. Many thanks.
Cannot Display Diagrams
Probably worthwhile changing the error message to include the lack of a printer as a possible cause.

I am pleased to see this thread. I was having exactly the same problem and error message with v3.1 and was seriously thinking of reverting to v3.0.
v3.0 worked perfectly btw. I am pleased to have resolved it as I like the relationship column available in the latest version.

As mine does not appear to be an isolated case, could this issue be addressed in a later version?

This is being addressed in the next release.
