Got an update problem when entering data in diagram mode.

What I do:
I double click an individual, select the ALL tab, select the root entry, contect mouseclick, and ADD NOTE and then ADD LINK TO NEW NOTE RECORD.
The cursor sits at the Text awaiting my input, and if I did that I expected that if I close that individuals window the diagram receives a refresh, so that the individual's box reflects the latest change.
But it doesn't.
If I (for example) swap the order of any entries before closing the individuals window, then the diagram box gets the assumed refresh.
Any idea ? It's a bit uncomfortable to not see the latest modifications.

just a follow up ... I run into the very same update problem when for example adding a source citization, this time I used a split window, so that I could see the diagram besides the records windows, last one being at TAB sources.
If I add an existing birth source to an individual from within the diagram the records window still shows that this source is linked against 0 individuals.
Switching to another TAB and back to sources then forces the update so that this source is then linked one times.

Seems to be a more common issue with FH to not update each action taken ? Is it perhaps a size of database problem ? I can't remember I had this problem in the past. Or perhaps a Windows problem ?

There are many places where FH doesn't update either the diagram or the record window when data has been edited elsewhere.

One case I come across is when I add children using the property window. If the child appears on the diagram and is in view, then the diagram is updated correctly with all the child's details. If however, the child is fully off the edge of the screen then only the child's first name appears in the box, no other data even if it's been added and the diagram's text scheme displays it. The diagram has to be re-displayed, or another child added for the children in question to have their details shown.

The result is shown in the attached picture where the whole family was off the edge of the screen when the fourth child was added.

There are lots of things that don't update the diagram automatically. I've got in the habit of doing Refresh on the Window menu when updating the properties while viewing a diagram. It's irritating to have to do this, but at least it works.
