Family Historian User Group

I'm on V3. Today I did some updating and thought I'd backed up as usual, then switched off PC. Switched on again later to find that the gedcom is still there but is completely empty of all info (about 3000 names). Can't find it anywhere - I'm on Windows Vista Home Premium. I have a back up from a few weeks ago so should be okay, but need to understand why this happened and if it is restorable. can anyone help?

If you did a backup, try going to the File/Backup Restore menu and select Restore to restore one of your backups.

It's possible your harddrive had a write error
