V3 not responding when trying to display diagrams

Post by Sharon » 30 Jan 2010 22:41

I have just started using FH again after a break of about 12 mths from family history research. I use the diagrams as my main page and the program was working fine the last time I used it, but now it stops responding whenever I try and display any diagrams.

I've tried it with a couple of GED files, and even created a small test family tree to check nothing was corrupted on my older files, but I get the same problem.

I have upgraded to FH 3.1.2 to see if that would fix it, but it hasn't had any effect. I'm using Windows Vista SP2 (in case anyone is aware of any incompatibilities.

Can anybody help please?

Thank you
Sharon

What Printers do you have installed on your computer, sometimes problems when displaying diagrams are often due to printer driver issues, try downloading a PDF printer program [wiki]aboutother_nonfh_software:pdf_creators[/wiki] and set that as your default printer in windows to see if FH then displays diagrams.

Jane,

I've installed PDF995 and that seems to have fixed it!

Thank you very much.
