I have just upgraded my laptop from Vista to Windows 7 and FH v3.1 has stopped working. I have tried reinstalling FH using V2.1.6 CD (which appeared to work OK) and then upgrade to V3.0 CD. I just keep getting a message saying 'Family Historian has stopped working'. Any ideas?

I've no personal experience of this problem (I'm still, happily, using XP) but I wonder if this thread might be relevant:

What firewall are you using, if it's commdo uninstall it.

Thanks for replies. I've managed to fix it by disabling Data Execution Prevention for FH (as per FAQ #1013 on FH website).
