Census flag query question

Post by hls99cat »

Hello! I followed your tutorial to apply a 1911 flag using a custom query, and it all seemed to go swimmingly. Until I opened the diagrams and the flags seem to have been applied to parents and husbands of the named people, even if they were not in the census or dead well before 1911. I cleared ALL 1911 flags before I started.

Any ideas please - I would be very grateful! Thanks

Census flag query question

It may be possible that your Custom Query did not use quite the correct filter on the Rows tab.
Can you please post here your Rows tab parameters.

Perhaps you did not enter the [year=1911] special index correctly.

Also check that no Census Event exists with a date in 1911 for the problem parent & husband Individuals.
Check the All tab of these Individuals and confirm that they have the 1911 Census Flag.
