Is there a way to access and enter international characters in FH 3.1?
I can't seem to find a way. For example, I need a Danish character that is a lower case 'O' with two accents over it.
Can someone please help?

In Windows XP you could try the Character Map in Accessories>System Tools, although it is a little bit cumbersome to use. However, it also gives the shortcut keys for certain characters and the ALT+[4 digit Unicode number] for each character. This works well if you are going to use the same character a number of times and can remember the key code. Check the Help in Character Map.

Thanks, I'll give that a try.
I tried copying from MS-Word, but that failed...

Modern computers support character sets of more than 255 characters, but many programs, including FH, store text as one byte per character, so you can only use anything up to and including ÿ, i.e. Alt+0255 from character map.
ö can be keyed as Alt+0246 i.e. with numlock on, hold down the Alt key and hit numberpad 0 2 4 6

Thanks for the info and tip; however, the character I need is the 'o' with two accent marks, rather than the two dots...

There are various letter o with accents over between 0240 and 0246 so try them out to see if the one you want is there. Also if you have a look at the Character Map as Gerry suggested you should be able to see the options for yourself.
