Horizontal scrolling keyboard shortcut

A universal keyboard shortcut for horizontal scrolling is the SHIFT key in conjunction with moving the mouse wheel. However, this is not possible in the FH records window (and possibly query result sets as well?). I would like to be able to scroll horizontally using the SHIFT key and mouse wheel in order to see multiple columns that span beyond the size of a window.
