The Plugin Help on the FH API Funcion fhGetContextInfo('CI_APP_MODE') says it:

Returns one of the following:
'Project Mode'
'Gedcom Mode'
'Gedcom Mode (new)'

The first value is obviously related to V4/V5 Project Mode, and the last two to V3 standalone GEDCOM mode.
However, it does not explain the distinction between the last two values, nor the circumstances that cause them to be returned.

The second one is a new gedcom file (eg 1 created from File/Gedcom Tasks/New which has not been saved and therefore has no name.

I have updated the Let Standalone Gedcom Use Project Commands plugin to take account of this explanation.
Perhaps the Plugin API Help needs this this explanation to be added.

The V5.0.0.3 Help has been improved and so this problem has been fixed.
