attempt to call global 'fhGetItemText' error

I am getting a plugin error '... attempt to call global 'fhGetItemText' (a nil value). No changes have been made to data records.' when running a variety of plugins including:

Possible Problem Report
Search All Possible Names
Map Life Events

I have seen a couple references to this error, but the posts seemed to suggest the problem should be fixed. I think I am running the most current version of these plugins.

The fhGetItemText() API function has been dropped from FH V5.0.0.3 and its substitute, the updated fhGetDisplayText() API function, has some deficiencies to be corrected in FH V5.0.0.4.
Some plugins are still to be updated, and for others, the authors prefer to wait for FH V5.0.0.4.

Perhaps the moral is not to drop one feature until its substitute has been proven satisfactory.
