The V2.1 updated plugin is now available from the Plugin Store.
It lets any Individual Fact or Family Fact, or other Level 1 Tag in any type of Record, be deleted or changed.
It supports all Standard Facts, Custom Facts, Gedcom Tags, and UDF Tags.
The user interface has had a major overhaul.

Source data can now be selected by Value, Date, and Place by using Filters.
Filters allow a subset of the chosen Fact or Tag to be selected for change.
Both plain text and regular expression filters are supported.
So for example every Occupation Attribute with a value of Scholar could be changed to an Education Attribute with the same value.

If an Attribute is changed to an Event its Value is saved in a SOURce Note.
If a UDF Tag is changed, most abnormal  values, such as @@S99@@ record links, are corrected.

Provides a way of locating any Tags selectively by using dropdown Lists and Filters.
Use the Delete every Tag button, click Skip all the Rest, and then View & Delete Log Files.

The plugin allows confirmation of changes, keeps a log file of changes and warnings, and retains settings across PC, for both Projects and standalone GEDCOM.
Any unconvertible data and warning messages are both logged and saved in a SOURce Note for the Fact/Tag, or failing that, in a SOURce Note, or a Local NOTE, for the whole Record.

See the built in Help & Advice for more details.

The plugin has been quite rigorously tested, and I challenge anyone to find a Tag structure it does not handle satisfactorily.

I came to use this in anger this morning, can I make a couple of suggestions.

I found it difficult to spot which of the many buttons I needed to press to process the changes, but the process worked well.

It might be worth using the Result set to output all the changes made at the end of the run. This would allow people to easily print or save a list of the records changed, with not extra work on your part.

The existing Log File feature should have recorded the entire process.

Could the Help & Advice be improved?

Yes I found the log, but a result set would have allowed me to jump to the records changed to view them rather than having to note them from the log and then go to them to check the changes.

I wondered on the help, what do you think about having pages on the Knowledge base and then showing them in a IE window like you do for the maps, that way it could easily be updated.

I have added your Result Set suggestion for the next release.
I could update the Help & Advice as you suggest, similar to my new Map Life Facts V1.1 plugin.
The only possible snag is the Help & Advice won't function if the user's PC is off-line!
I am reluctant to release this plugin again until FH V5.0.0.4 fixes the fhGetDisplayText() issues that affect this plugin.
