Re: Change Any Fact Tag Version 2.1 & 2.2

The V2.1 updated plugin is now available from the Plugin Store.
It lets any Individual Fact or Family Fact, or other Level 1 Tag in any type of Record, be deleted or changed.
It supports all Standard Facts, Custom Facts, Gedcom Tags, and UDF Tags.
The user interface has had a major overhaul.
Source data can now be selected by Value, Date, and Place by using Filters.
Filters allow a subset of the chosen Fact or Tag to be selected for change.
Both plain text and regular expression filters are supported.
So for example every Occupation Attribute with a value of Scholar could be changed to an Education Attribute with the same value.
If an Attribute is changed to an Event its Value is saved in a SOURce Note.
If a UDF Tag is changed, most abnormal values, such as @@S99@@ record links, are corrected.
Provides a way of locating any Tags selectively by using dropdown Lists and Filters.
Use the Delete every Tag button, click Skip all the Rest, and then View & Delete Log Files.
The plugin allows confirmation of changes, keeps a log file of changes and warnings, and retains settings across PC, for both Projects and standalone GEDCOM.
Any unconvertible data and warning messages are both logged and saved in a SOURce Note for the Fact/Tag, or failing that, in a SOURce Note, or a Local NOTE, for the whole Record.
See the built in Help & Advice for more details.
The plugin has been quite rigorously tested, and I challenge anyone to find a Tag structure it does not handle satisfactorily.
