Ancestry plugin possible?

Post by szb100 » 12 Nov 2012 20:25

I saw details of the web services FTM uses to expose some ancestry functionality at http://www.tamurajones.net/FamilyTreeMa ... vice.xhtml but must confess the information is lost on me.
I was wondering if it would be possible to use these web services in a plugin to expose ancestry functionality in FH.
Anyone technical care to comment?

Ancestry plugin possible?

I have not been through the document in detail, but I suspect would take a great deal of work and potentially could stop working at any time if the API changed.

I have already done a plugin which builds a 'lookup' page for use in searching for Census for both Ancestry and Find My past, which has proved quite popular.
