Wrong browser being used

I recently installed the Ancestors UK Census Checker plugin and when I ran it for the first time I stupidly asked it to connect to MS Word instead of my usual browser (Senior moment)and now all the plugins bring up Word instead of an internet browser. Is there anyway of fixing this? I have tried reinstalling the plugins having deleted them first and also reinstalled the latest version of FH but neither of these corrects the problem. Should I uninstall FH fully first then reinstall or is there a simpler way by correcting one of the plugins?

It's actually the Windows file association which is broken not anything in Family Historian.
So the best way to fix it is to find a file on your computer with an html extension, search for *.html in windows and then right click on it and select Open With then Choose Default Program, once there select the browser you want to open the files with.
P.S Can't believe you have been a member for more than 10 years and this is your first post!

I don't think it is anything to do with FH or Plugins.
It is to do with default file associations for HTML files used by the Plugin.
So you need to correct the Program Defaults for HTML files as follows.
In Windows Desktop click Start > Default Programs.
Then select Set your default programs at the top, and wait for the program list to load.
Select your preferred browser IE/Firefox/Chrome from the list.
Finally click Set this program as default at the bottom.

Thank you both for helping me fix this. The plugin now works OK. Jane, I rarely post to any forum because there is usually someone out there who has already asked the question. I love FH but haven't been using it much over the last few years and am only now getting back to doing some family history. Thanks again for all your help.
