I have taken on board your suggestion regarding the QUIT Plugin and UNDO Edits button action.
I've also taken a leaf out of your plugin and split the Fact Sets into two subsets for Events and Attributes.
That allows an identically named Event and Attribute to be selected and one changed into the other without needing to relabel either of them in the Tools > Fact Types... definitions. Therefore, after importing a Project resulting in such duplicates it is far easier to convert them.
