As I'm still exploring FH, I continue to examine several things before I "officially" use it as my database (FYI, I've stopped entering data into RM too as I will be moving over to FH). Anyway, I've noticed a few things as I've imported my RM data into FH regarding the RM templates I've created (there are essentially three that I use for EVERYTHING). The first item is that there are a few fields that are either not being imported into FH or they're stored in other locations not shown on the FH Source Template Definition Editor. BTW, I've used Mark Draper's great plugin, "create source template definition," to work with my templates in FH. So, here a a few things I'd like to check on:
Two fields that are populated in RM don't show up in FH. Specifically, "Prompt" and "Description" (In RM, these are labeled as "Hint" and "Long Hint." This can been seen in the following screen capture from FH:
As seen in the above, "Prompt" and Description fields are empty. In examining the same template in RM, the information does exist as shown below.
As I'm only using three templates, it's not a big deal to manually enter the same information into the templates on FH. This screen shot displays this added information.
I'm going to continue this post in the first comment. It appears as if I can only attach three pics to a post.

Re: RootsMagic 7 to FH7 Template Questions
Now for the important part. When inputting data into the template, the "Prompt" ("hints" in RM) is populated with suggestions after they've been reentered into FH (as they don't appear to have been imported from RM) - which is what is expected. I would like for the "Description" (or "Long Hint") to be visible when, for example, clicking on a question mark (or other "help" prompt) next to each field as this information is very helpful should any questions arise when adding a new source - this is the way that it works in RM. The "Description" (or "Long Hint" in RM) can provide a lot of useful information and clarification as to what needs to go in each field; refer to the middle screen capture in the original post for an example of what should displayed.
The following screen capture provides an example of what I'd like to see in FH, although one would need to click on the "?" to view the "Description" or "Long Hint":
Is this possible? Thanks!!

No, it is not something that users can add. In principle, a DEA built for your templates could have that facility. However, that is a steep learning curve for a new user, so will be well down your list of priorities.

Ugh! I was hoping that might be the case.
