Edge based Microsoft WebView2
FH v7.0.7 introduces the new Web Search Window based on Microsoft Edge using WebView2.
Previously in Plugins we used iup.olecontrol { "Shell.Explorer.1"; DesignMode="NO"; } to invoke the IE Shell.
What do we use now to invoke Microsoft Edge WebView2 or will the above statement continue to work indefinitely?

Re: Edge based Microsoft WebView2
Yes, but what exactly is the iup.olecontrol parameter that replaces "Shell.Explorer.1"?
I've tried "WebView2" and a few other variants but none work.
Google searching for 'OLE Control WebView2' produces no useful suggestions.
Also, would it be backwards compatible with Windows 7 and 8.2 and earlier FH versions 5.0.11 & 6.2.7?

Re: Edge based Microsoft WebView2
Re backwards compatibility, I suspect FH itself would have a problem if it isn't.
Haven't had a chance to expore it myself yet.

Re: Edge based Microsoft WebView2
Given that it's optional to install WebView2, I suspect it's a non-starter for plugin purposes. Plus, I'm told there isn't an OLE control anyway.

Re: Edge based Microsoft WebView2
So that leads to my supplemental question:
Will the statement iup.olecontrol { "Shell.Explorer.1"; DesignMode="NO"; } continue to work indefinitely given that Microsoft is officially pulling the plug on Internet Explorer in June 2022?
I use it in Map Life Facts and may only have a year to determine the answer.

You might want to ask Microsoft that question, Mike -- they're more likely to know than anyone here.
