Please try the attached Rearrange Address and Place Parts plugin Version 1.6.5 Date 20 Apr 2022.
It should work correctly on your large Project.

Remember you can abort the progress bar soon after starting the rearrangement and no changes will have been made.

You can also use Edit > Undo Plugin Updates before closing FH to revert all changes.

Thanks for the reply and apologies for the delay in replying

Been without a PC for a couple of days whilst having some upgrades done to it

The new 1.6.5 worked like a dream and did the lot in about 2 minutes

I will have and read that other thread at some time before commenting further
