In V7 can I presume that the old plug ins from V6, now marked as disabled, can be safely deleted.
Updated V7 plug ins have been installed and used.
Thanks

If you've updated the ones you need, yes
You may also want to look at
Heads up for plugin authors in V7 (18787) and clean up the old libraries in C:\ProgramData\Calico Pie\Family Historian\Plugins\. There's a plugin coming to do it, but there's a little more debugging to do yet.
Ask if you want guidance on what to delete.

Just because they are marked as disabled does NOT mean they won't work but simply that they might not work.
Many simple plugins should still work. Only those with a user interface dialogue or that manipulate Media might not work.
If they are plugins you have found useful then you can Edit them and test them on a dummy Project.
If you discover any problems you can ask the Author for assistance here, as others have done.
BTW: Helen, if there are problems with that plugin mine is ready to publish now.

I only have 3 plug ins but I'll wait for the debugged plugin in for safe removal.
All 3 have had new versions downloaded.
I updated the "backup and restore" plug in as I needed to use it on reinstall FH on my PC, after a rebuild. The new version worked OK.
The other 2 were "export GEDCOM file" and "Search and Replace" which are replaced but I do not have need to use those at present.
Perhaps this thread can be updated when the removal and cleanup plug in is available
Thanks

The proposed plugin does not remove listed plugins whether disabled or not. It only removes library modules used by plugins but they aren't listed in the Tools > Plugins window. You must delete any plugins you no longer need by clicking More>> at the bottom if necessary and then using Delete.
If you have only ever used the three plugins you mentioned then you won't need the clean up plugin.
