Re: curious on residence
Sorry, but you will have to be a little clearer.
I assume you are talking about the standard Residence fact?
1) Do you want to delete all fields such as Date, Place, Address, Age, Note, etc, associated with Residence facts?
OR
2) Do you just want to delete all Residence facts entirely?
I imagine you are thinking about using the Clean Unwanted Fields plugin?
That would be best for 1) above whereas 2) can be achieved with the All Facts Query and global delete.

yes I would like to just delete all the residence facts and start over replacing them.

Re: curious on residence
OK, so run the standard Query called All Facts.
In its Result Set, click the Fact Type column heading to sort the facts into alphabetic order.
Scroll down until you find all the Residence facts listed together.
Then in the Event/Attribute column on the right, drag the cursor from the first down to the last Residence ... fact.
All those Residence ... cells in the righthand column should be highlighted in blue.
Press the keyboard Delete key or use Edit > X Delete command to delete all the chosen Residence facts.
Note the popup warning message and click OK to accept the deletions.
Double-check that only Residence facts have been deleted.
If in doubt, use the Edit > Undo Delete Selected Data Item(s) command.
