Problem with Data Entry Assistant Plugins

Post by John1957 » 08 Feb 2021 07:22

I've installed the data entry assistant plugins V.7 to Family Historian 7 but when I try to use them I get one of two messages come up indicating that this can't be done. Now I'm not the most savvy person when it comes to plugins, so maybe I'm doing something, which is very obvious, wrong. If anyone can throw any light on this problem I would be grateful.

You need to run DEAs when you have a Prepare Citation...

See Sources and Citations in Version 7 (for New Users) or Sources and Citations in Version 7 (for Upgraders) depending on whether you're a new user or an upgrader.

The plugins you've selected will only work if you've prepared a citation to a templated source. If you're using generic sources, try the plugins at Some new Data Entry Assistant plugins for testing (V7) (18293). They have a few bugs which I'm working on but support generic or templated sources.
