Export Gedcom Plugin Question

I'm pretty new to Family Historian (I had bought 6.2 but never really used it. Trying to learn v7 now).

Anyways, I really like Tate's Export Plugin. I just have one question and maybe I missed how to do it:
When I export a gedcom from another program too FH 7, there is a tag in the file called _LINK

When I export from FH 7 using the plugin, the _LINK exports as just LINK so I get several hundred "Warnings" on import into the other program.

I can manually do a search and replace in notepad and don't receive any errors on import. I looked through the various plugin settings I nothing jumped out at me that I could set to tell the export plugin to convert all LINK tags to _LINK

Is that possible or do I need to just continue manually editing the gedcom after export before importing into the other program?

Thanks for any help (and thanks again to Mike Tate for the hard work he does on these plugins )
Matthew

Welcome to the FHUG Matthew and thank you for the compliments.

Please see the very first Help & Advice page for the Export Gedcom File plugin:
https://pluginstore.family-historian.co ... edcom-file
That advises that you perform several command tasks to ensure you have a 'clean' FH GEDCOM file.
The plugin will not work reliably otherwise, as you have discovered.
It cannot possibly cope with every rogue custom tag that may be derived from other products.

That _LINK tag imported from another product is an Uncategorised Data Field (UDF) that should be corrected after import, then you won't have a problem on export. See the FHUG Knowledge Base advice on Importing for various cleanup techniques including Handling Uncategorised Data Fields.
