I brought my database in from Rootsmagic where I used custom templated sources. Not surprisingly they came in with Title, Short Title and Where Within. Gradually I want to get them into FH7 templates. When I run Find Duplicate Citations, there are a lot of them. The ones I've investigated are all because of shared events (witness roles). If I choose the option to delete, does it just keep one citation and all the other witnesses link to that roll so they still have citations, or does it just delete all citations to the witness roles. The fewer I have, the easier cleanup will be.

I'm not sure exactly what gets deleted, but I suggest that you review the results of deletion carefully.
If anything appears unsatisfactory then use Edit > Undo Plugin Updates BEFORE closing FH.
Otherwise, you will have to rely on backups to reverse the plugin deletions.

I'll try that. Make a backup first as well.
