I wasn't planning to because the facilities in V7make chunks of it redundant.
Which aspects of it do you want to use?

I really only use it when adding notes/Lists of NON directly related children and which couple they belong to.
Instead adding ALL the children to my database, I use the CHILD COUNT fact and cut and paste the children's names and dates from the web into the CHILD COUNT Notes. SO I have a record to go back to later.
Then in the normal notes I add CH=7 (Children equals etc).
What I do is have this CHILD COUNT fact added via Muiltifact for both Parents.
I know it sounds complicated and there's probably better ways of doing this, But this worked for me.
It just means I have lists of children available should I want check, but NOT in the main database.

If you know of a better way to do this, I would be only to pleased to try it.
Maybe I am missing some plugin or function that would do the same job just as easy.

Two ideas spring to mind:
- Add the CHILD COUNT fact to one parent with all the details, citations, etc, then use the Copy & Paste Fact buttons to create a duplicate for the other parent.
- Redefine the CHILD COUNT fact to be a Family fact and just add it once to both parents simultaneously rather like a Marriage or Divorce fact. Do you need help redefining the custom fact?
BTW:
You must retain the Individual CHILD COUNT fact until you have replaced them all with the Family equivalents.

yes, I would need help. Does doing it your ways mean I have redo all the CHILD COUNT facts .
Also would I run into problems if there are two or more husbands or Wives.

Let me recap a little just to complete the picture.
Is your CHILD_COUNT fact the Standard Child Count Attribute or did you (unnecessarily) create a custom fact?
I presumed that when there are multiple spouses you added a CHILD_COUNT for each partnership.
So a husband and his 1st wife would have a pair of identical CHILD_COUNT facts.
The same husband and his 2nd wife would have another pair of identical CHILD_COUNT facts.
My suggestion simply merges those identical pairs into one single Family CHILD_COUNT fact per couple.
It is just the same as each couple having their own Marriage event.
(BTW: There is a standard Family 'Count of Children' data item but it is NOT a Fact so does not appear on the Facts tab.)
If you adopted this new strategy, then you could retain all the Individual CHILD_COUNT facts, or gradually migrate them to a Family CHILD_COUNT fact, or perhaps a Plugin could automate that process.
To create a Family CHILD_COUNT fact, use Tools > Fact Types..., then New..., and enter the Fact Name as CHILD_COUNT, Fact Type as Attribute so its value is the number of children, Record Type as Family and Fact Set whatever one you prefer.
Click Create, design your Sentence Template, set Normal Time Frame to Post-Marriage so the fact appears between Marriage and either Divorce or Death. Then off you go......

the CHILD_COUNT fact is the Standard Child Count Attribute. Me create a custom fact?, most surely not. Way above my pay grade
BTW did I remind you that New Zealand is the first to see Santa, so we have an opportunity to pass on notes re nice or Naughty .
Anyway any help would be great, there is no great rush at all. Need an old man nap, is 2.43pm Saturday here.....
