I have the following plugins as below which do not work or have not been upgraded

Ancestors & Descendant Counts by generation ver 1.0 Janes
Although the plugin in the new store says it is v 1.0 it is actually v 1.2, and was updated on 30 Nov. If you download it manually you'll find that it is the updated version and it does run in FH7.

Plugin authors have been working very hard and occasionally have forgotten to change the version number displayed. Entirely forgivable, given how much they have had to do!

There are now a variety of scenarios regarding this Plugin:
  1. FH v5.1 & FH v6.2 users trying to run plugin v2.9
Presumably, this fails gracefully in some way?
  2. FH v5.1 users running plugin v3.0
Does this only check and offer to download just FH v5 compatible plugins?
  3. FH v6.2 users running plugin v3.0
Does this only check and offer to download just FH v6 compatible plugins?
  4. FH v7.0 users running plugin v3.0
Does this only check and offer to download just FH v7 compatible plugins?
I had a quick look at the script and could not detect any FH version filtering, but I may have missed it.
If there is no filtering then will FH v5 & v6 users get plugins that may not work in their version?

On reflection, assuming plugin authors categorise their plugins for the FH versions correctly, and users only download plugins appropriate for their installed FH version then it should all be OK.

I've just updated to FH7 and have downloaded the updated version of this plugin from the store. But when I run the plugin I get the below error message. I seem to remember a bit ago there were similar problems but cannot remember what the solution was. This also happens with other Plugins that access the internet for one reason or another.
I am also getting the same message, I have version 3 of the plugin installed. I did notice this V3 is dated November 27th, does that matter,

I just tried running that plugin again and still get the plugin error message
I am using Windows 7 (64 BIT) I do have a screen capture of the error if needed. Unsure how to post it.

It reports a error in the secure channel support etc

Now that's not nice. You know very well that New Zealand is at least a day ahead of most countries :D
So your kind of sending messages into the future.
I will be honest, English is not my first language and my Kiwi - English translator let me down.

I did read that wonderful ladies post. I just bypassed some the key words. Like don't.... No such word as Don't or can't in NZ....of course.

So be nice, or we will not let you win the next rugby world cup.....

Kindest regards Always
