Hi,

When I run the Import FromAncestry or FTM plugin I get the following error:
fhSetValueAsDate(ptrItem,datItem) failed
INDI.MAR.DATE in record ID 152

The only reference in the log is the following:
Record Type=Individual. Gedcom Id=P152. Record Number=152.
l.2428 - INFO ONLY: Loaded uncategorised data (non-GEDCOM): "1 MARR "
l.2429 - INFO ONLY: Loaded uncategorised data (non-GEDCOM): "2 DATE 1979"
l.2430 - INFO ONLY: Loaded uncategorised data (non-GEDCOM): "2 PLAC Oxford, Oxfordshire, United Kingdom"
l.2431 - INFO ONLY: Loaded uncategorised data (non-GEDCOM): "2 SOUR @S1579814535@"
l.2432 - INFO ONLY: Loaded uncategorised data (non-GEDCOM): "3 PAGE General Register Office; United Kingdom; Marriage Register Indexes"

I cannot get past this error and have to cancel the plugin and rollback changes.

Anyone shed any light on this?

To be honest much of what this Plugin does is now unnecessary, because since FH V6.2.0 there is the Fact Set called Extended Set and other import conversions that do a better job.

In how_to:import_from_family_tree_maker|> Import from Family Tree Maker (FTM) under Quick Fix Plugins it says "However, this may not be needed from ƒh V6.2" but that advice has been omitted from how_to:import_from_ancestry|> Import from Ancestry website. Sorry, I will fix that ASAP.

What they both do say is "If this Plugin hits problems, they may need resolving in Ancestry or FTM or by how_to:handling_unrecognised_data_fields|> Handling Uncategorised Data Fields (UDF) for just the problem fields".
In this case, that INDI.MARR tag is an Uncategorised Data Field (UDF) as reported in the Log.
The MARRiage tag is only valid in a FAMily record and not an INDIvidual record.
I cannot imagine how Ancestry or FTM have created such a tag unless it is some user customisation.

So I advise not using this Plugin and focus on the other advice instead.
