Plugin updates

Post by peterbel » 04 Mar 2020 23:00

I have made a lot of use of Plugins and I have found them very useful. Well beyond my coding skills!
Is there one that can check my collection for ones that have been updated?

Yes, it's called 'Check Installed Plugins Against the Store'.

Thanks Lorna.
Do you mean, Check Version In Store (code snippet)?
If so I am unsure I how I would use it.
Also if I understand it correctly, it checks them one at a time, keyboard entered, not the collection.

You want the plugin from the plugin store at https://www.family-historian.co.uk/plug ... try?id=253

Thanks, that makes more sense to me.
I couldn't find it listed here https://www.fhug.org.uk/wiki/doku.php?id=plugins:titles and that was what I was searching.

That Knowledge Base page says
This index lists Family Historian Plugins page titles from the Knowledge Base in alphabetical order.
They are Help pages for some Plugins, and other advice associated with developing Plugins.
They are not a comprehensive list of Plugins in the Calico Pie Plugin Store, which can be updated by anyone.

Perhaps you are unaware that the usual way to access plugins is from within FH, using Tools > Plugins > Plugin Store. There you can click Browse Plugins to view a full list, or use the Search box.
