I have Legacy 9 as well (but use primarily Legacy 7, speedier and graphics more to my liking) and yes, I had also confirmed the Custom Fact and Value works as well.

Again, you're right (again ).. I didn't adequately review the Label Options tab nor, (yes I needed it) the blanked Caption Note entry, and I see where the Attribute value could be cleared.

Try attached Export Gedcom File Plugin ZIP file Version 3.2.10 Date 04 Jul 2017. [Now Deleted]

For LFT it sets Custom Attribute 1 _ATTR to Custom Fact & Value.
It also sets the Marriage Status 1 _STAT to Keep Custom Tag as I've discovered LFT supports that.
(Those two settings may need manual selection if upgrading from Version 3.2.*)
There is minor enhancement to EMAIL, WWW, and PHON when no ADDRess field.

The Plugin adds a place-holder for (FTD) Family Tree DNA for http://www.familytreedna.co.uk/.

The existing name tag format for FTM is maintained with the FTM+ Full Data mode.
A major change is that FTM- Brief Data mode omits all the name tags for a much curtailed FTM dialect Gedcom.

Please check that this version has not disturbed any other settings.

Did a test of v3.2.10, both LFT and TNG option. The results are as you predicted. 1)The attribute setting that before I had to set manually, now is the default. The LFT option I did set manually the Marriage Status_1Stat to Custom Fact, and those (only 11 marriages) were moved to STAT instead of NOTE and displayed properly in LFT. I guess these are an exception in my database. No other settings in LFT or TNG were disturbed. Lastly, the Media Record - Adjust Link/Note was a default change, but it had zero effect compared to v3.2.9.
