Using the above for an export for use by GedSite.
In FH, I use a five column setup for Place records, with data in a standard format (Country in column 5, County / State in 4 and Town in 3, and with occasional use of Columns 2 & 1). Looking at the Gedcom files generated with previous versions of the Plugin, the leading commas in the Place data have been removed (thus " , , Bridgwater, Somerset, England " in FH appears as " 2 PLAC Bridgwater, Somerset, England " in the exported Gedcom) but with 3.1 I am seeing " 2 PLAC , , Bridgwater, Somerset, England " in the exported Gecom.
With the new version using GST for the target identifier I cannot see the Plugin settings / options I used in previous versions (which used GSW) but I also cannot see anything that would (to me) offer an option to "tidy" the output. Am I missing something or has the output changed? Many thanks

Re: Export Gedcom File Plugin (3.1)
Thank you for the feedback Brent.
Firstly, the state of GedSite and the Plugin are still in an early phase of development and will improve.
John Cardinal specifically requested that the Plugin does little to the exported Gedcom, other than add the Fact Type Sentence Templates. The idea being that direct export of a Gedcom from FH will be handled identically by GedSite apart from the Sentence Templates as explained in http://www.gedsite.com/en/familyhistorian.htm. Currently for GedSite, PLACe fields are not 'tidied', but I have just noticed ADDRess fields are 'tidied' and perhaps should not.
You could E-mail John about 'tidying' of PLACe and ADDRess fields to see whether he plans to handle that, or whether the Plugin should do so.
The Plugin tabs should have much the same options as all versions since V2.0, but some conversion rules such as 'tidying' are not visible as user options.

Re: Export Gedcom File Plugin (3.1)
Thanks Mike - I'll drop John C an email re ADDR & PLAC.
Worst case (as I tried before raising the matter on this forum), I can use the Find / Replace in Notepad++ to clean up the PLAC data, and I also used the Search / Replace plugin on Address data (to remove my "hidden" text and it's preceding comma), so I know I can "do it myself" but would prefer not to have the extra steps. I'll keep you posted on John's response.

Is your ADDRess "hidden" text within privacy [[ square brackets ]] ?
If so, then tick Exclude [[private]] Notes and that should remove such text in all fields, and currently 'tidy' any commas in ADDRess.

Thanks Mike - yes it is. I thought the "Exclude..." option would just take out the brackets (and text between) without a tidy up of commas - I'll set that option on and try it out.

Re: Export Gedcom File Plugin (3.1)
For info, John C has advised:
"I think it's better for GedSite to do the cleanup. GedSite will offer more place-related features in future versions, and the extra commas could play a part in making sense of what is essentially free-form place data.
I will add some address cleanup processing in the next version. I'm planning on a once-a-week schedule for the immediate future, so you won't have to wait long."
