Mike, I think that you said earlier in this thread that you were thinking of changing the Default setting for TNG in your Export Plugin to "Keep _SHAR tags".
This will be fine if Darrin comes up with a way of inserting some sort of Event/Fact/ASSO into the Witness records, but at present the default setting of the Plugin is the only way to get something into the Witness records - which is a lot better than nothing.

Re: Witness role exported to TNG
Don't worry, I won't change the Plugin until Darrin implements those collapsible Witness links, and he tells me he has not got a timetable for doing that yet.
Even if I did change the Plugin, you can simply hang on to the earlier version, or alter that Extra Options tab setting.
(Those settings get remembered by the Plugin for each product independently.)

I thnk I have now got what I want by using my programme to edit Mike's plugin's exported gedcom. You will see on the attached TNG page that this person has witnesses to a Court, Will and Marriage event and is himself a witness at 5 events owned by other people. all with dynamic links.
Perhaps I shoud not tell Darrin.
Mike, did you know that since version 11 was introduced in March this year, TNG's default character set is UTF8?

Re: Witness role exported to TNG
That certainly looks neat John.
No, I did not know that UTF-8 was now the TNG default, thank you.
Does it still support ISO as an alternative, or are there no alternatives now?

Re: Witness role exported to TNG
In the Setup procedure you can choose between English and English UTF8, English I think being ISO-8859-1. But the TNG Wiki recommends users of previous versions to change to UTF8 because "PHP 5.6 appears to force UTF8 encoding for display" and some other reasons.
