Duplicate Individuals

Post by ampt » 01 Oct 2015 19:21

I am a newbiw to FH. Have combined a number of separate trees and would like to run for Duplicate Individuals.

When I "run" I get the following message:
"Script Header: Find_Duplicate_Individuals@Title differs from Filename"

Help please.

Somehow during the download from the Plugin Store the the Plugin Filename has changed its spaces into underscores, i.e. Find Duplicate Individuals.fh_lua has become Find_Duplicate_Individuals.fh_lua and my Plugins check those types of corruption.

Please delete that Plugin from the FH Tools > Plugins window. You may have to click More>> to reveal the Delete button.

Repeat the download, checking the filename has spaces, and if possible use the Open with Family Historian option rather than Save File. But if Save is the only option, ensure the filename still has spaces after the save, and if necessary correct the filename, before opening with FH.

Please tell us what browser you are using.

Thanks Mike.
Decided to try the easy way: used rename to change underline to space. To my surprise, worked like a charm.
Great plugin; saved me tons of time. I combined several branches of my family tree and there are tons of duplicates. Thanks again.
