Suggestion for Missing Census Plugin

Hi

I have a suggestion for the missing census plugin though not sure how useful or practical it is. Apart from the most common countries needed there may be a requirement for census's for other countries to be searched for. In my family I have France and NZ. Now I am sure it wouldn't be practical to keep adding every country, but I thought it might be good to add a custom country which could be user defined, not necessarily for searching on ancestry etc, but to produce a report/query that could be used for research. So you could prompt the user for the start date, the interval and then any exclusions. So for France, start date = 1836, interval = 5 years, exclusions = 1871 (was taken 1872 but I would treat that manually) and 1916. I could do the same for NZ and others could use it for other countries too.

Would this be possible? I had given up hope on my French side, but realised there is a lot more information online now and seeing as I am in Melbourne a trip to the records office isn't going to happen :)

The Plugin is designed to simplify online searches at Ancestry and FindMyPast that do not include the French Census records.
If there are other online Census records then they could be possibly added.

For a report of missing Census events, then a Query is a better vehicle.
See the fhugdownloads:censusrecords|> Downloads and Links ~ Census Records where there are several Query:Individual entries for Census reports.
Although these are designed for UK Census dates, it should be quite easy to adapt them for French Census dates.
