Hi
I am also having a problem with the media links plugin. I had 23 links needing fixing. and after trying to fix 3 (which I then did manually) I got the following error message (see attached). I have tried rolling back and then not rolling back. Each time one of the bmp gets overwritten with a bad copy. I now have 19 links to fix but have no idea which ones they are as I get this message. Any ideas?

Re: Check & Repair media links error
Sorry about that Melanie.
Here are a number of suggestions.
When you run the Plugin, and it asks if you want to fix problems, answer No, and it will produce a Result Set of the problem Multimedia Records.
Some of these may be obvious how to fix.
I have analysed the Plugin, and the error message is due to a completely blank Media file link, or possibly some other badly structure path & filename.
For the remainder, FH V6 has some new features.
In the Result Set, select the Multimedia Records that still need fixing.
In the toolbar click the Media camera icon and choose View Media for Selected Records to open Media Window.
Double-click a thumbnail image and a Property Box will open with missing File link and Location in red.
Click on the red links to obtain search and repair options.
Select each Media Record on the left in turn to fix each one.
I will also look at fixing the Plugin.

Re: Check & Repair media links error
Thanks Mike. Found and fixed. I also found the empty media title too. Are there any other plugins I should run to make sure everything is okay from the migration? I have also run the one that converts the family census to the individual census entries.
Thanks again
Melanie

A useful one to run is Show Project Statistics that reports not just statistics but also any unusual data entries.
Another one that identifies problems is Unidentified Data Fields (UDF) List although its Plugins window name is UDF List.
I would advise you download and try at least the top dozen or so from the Most Downloaded Plugins.
