* ShortCut Icon for Plug In

I have been working hard updating my tree and in particular using the Ancestral Sources Data Entry Plug in. As I did so I realised there is no quick way to run a plug in. Some do work from external to FH but most require you to navigate to the Plugins, then run run it. So here is my simple wish list request.

Could installed plugins also have the option to be added to the navigation bar. Either at the top or side of the screen. Or how about a button to take you to the Plugins.

I know it is not so fast as clicking an icon but they can be individually added to the Tools Menu and that gives pretty quick access.

If you have not come across this then go to Tools > Plugins, Click the More>> button at the bottom of the Plugins box and when you select a plugin the Check Box 'Add to Tools Menu' becomes available.

Added in Edit. You can also gain fast access to the plugins box using the keyboard Alt+Tu but in FH V6 only.

PJD, as a relative newcomer may I advise you not to post in the New Wish List Requests until you have explored all possibilities.
Post your initial problem in General Usage or Plugin Discussions and only when no solution is forthcoming then post here.

As David says there is a shortcut method already.
It is described under the Help button in the Plugins window.

DavidNewton - Thanks I had looked everywhere and searched on the forum and never seen that.

I lurk and search a lot, never posting until I am sure. I apologies for posting a suggestion of something that exists.
