On my PC (not Mac) I have just tried to run this plugin as 28 media links have been 'lost' in the migration from v5 to v6.
This is partially my fault as when I added these images some time ago I left them where they were on my PC rather than copying them to the media folder. They are still present in the original location.
When I run the plugin I get the attached error message.
Any suggestions?

Re: V6 problem with Find and Repair Media Links
I do not understand why simply upgrading from V5 to V6 should affect Media file links?
I suspect they must have been broken before the upgrade.
If there are only 28, and you know roughly where the files are, then FH V6 has a much easier way to fix those broken links.
Open the Media Window and locate the broken links with a X.
Double click the thumbnail and the Media record is displayed with the File: File not found and the folder Location: in red.
Click on either one and there are options to locate the missing file.
It is because of this new feature that I have not spent any time looking at the Plugin yet for FH V6.

The error reported originally is now fixed in the Plugin V1.1 in the Plugin Store.
