Cannot install plugin

First try with plugins and they all seem to come up with the message "An error has occured. Cannot install "......." as a plug in.

Can you confirm you are using a licensed FH Version 5 and NOT the 30-day Free Trial, and describe exactly the process you are using.
e.g.
Are you starting from the Family Historian website Plugin Store web page, or are you starting from the Family Historian program Tools > Plugins > Plugin Store button?
