* exporting from FH4 to PAF5

I am trying to send a relative a GEDCOM file for them to view in PAF5 as an introduction to genealogy software. PAF logs over 3,500 errors and refuses to import some individuals at all but the FH validate tool reports no errors.

Is there some way to export a GEDCOM that PAF5 will accept without error? I realize that it is probably PAF that is at fault but am trying to make this as easy as possible for the recipient who is not very computer savvy?

I assume you are using the export option to create a gedcom for the relation? If so try excluding media links and see if that helps.

If you are using Split Tree, remove media links, lists etc.

As PAF is free why not download a version and look at the error report to check out if there are any other record types PAF can not handle.

The ones starting with _ I suspect some of the others are gedcom elements with PAF does not support.
