Migrating from different versions of FTM

I see that there are well-known problems if I migrate from an older version of FTM - up to FTM2006/FTM16.  I also understand that the problem arises within FTM's GEDCOM execution, and that they can be corrected manually afterwards.  But is this exactly the same if I migrate from a newer version of FTM, eg. FTM 2012?  Thanks

Thanks but I had already seen that. It doesn't address my question at all. For migrating from FTM 2008-2012, would it have the same place and occupation problems as migrating from earlier and older versions? As you may know, FTM changed completely in 2008. I wondered if its GEDCOM improved....
