Family Historian User Group

I have been sent a *ged.ftw file which is an amended version of one of my *.ged files. Although I have managed to open it, I am unable to convert it to a file which FH can use in a comparison. I am therefore reduced to comparing manually...dead boring!
Has anyone got a solution?

Get the person who sent it to you to send it again, this time using the Export option on FTW to export a proper gedcom file rather than just adding .ged to it's file name.
